Best Oils for Nails and Cuticles

Did you know you can make your mani last longer, protect your acrylics and improve your overall nail health just by using a little oil? Well now you know, what you gonna do about it?
In this post we run through some of the best oils for your nails, and when to use each one. We love and respect ya, so don’t wanna push our products too hard and if you still aren’t sold on our lil’ beautiful Cuticle Oil Pens then we won’t discriminate - at least we can make sure you’re hydrating those paws regardless!

NAF! Stuff Cuticle Oil
Developed by nail technicians at NAF! Salon and inspired by our clients.
Our cuticle oil protects the skin, improves nail growth, and keeps your manicure looking beautiful longer. A combination of Vitamin E extract & Jojoba Oil will hydrate, nourish and lock in moisture while keeping your nails flexible. Use daily and the massaging motion will improve bloodflow to the root of your nail (the matrix) which results in longer, stronger nails. The twist & click brush pen allows for perfect dosage and application every time, and means you can take it anywhere. Plus it smells freakin’ awesome!
Although you can use a moisturizer or other oil, only specifically designed cuticle oil will move across you’re your gel or acrylic nails to keep them flexible and protect your manicure. Cuticle oils penetrate deeper than standard oils or moisturisers, which will only superficially soften. Our oil will toughen up your weak nails and cuticles at the same time as keeping the skin around them soft and supple. Choose from a range of delicious scents like Strawberry Daiquiri and Perkymint that’ll make you wanna rub that sh*t in all day long!

Coconut Oil
Is there anything coconut oil can’t do? If your nails are feeling brittle, slap on a little coconut oil to revive them. Massaging coconut oil into your nails and cuticles on a regular basis adds strength and moisture, which can help them grow long and strong. When applying coconut oil, gently massage and leave on for at least 30 minutes. Keep some by your sink to use after washing your hands.

Almond Oil
Almond oil is packed with nutrients and antioxidants to improve your nail health, including vitamin E, A, B1, B2, B6. Massaging almond oil into your nails and cuticles will protect your nails from peeling, cracking, breaking and dryness. Almond oil also protects against aging skin, so it makes a good addition to hand cream too.

Tea Tree Oil
We all know tea tree oil contains antiseptic properties, but did you know it can be used to keep your nails bacteria free and treat infections? Using tea tree oil alongside a moisturising oil can help ensure your nails and toenails stay fresh, clean and infection free. Remember, if you wear acrylics they stay on your nails for a long time, so good nail hygiene is essential!
