NAF! Nail Salon

Best Nail Salons Edinburgh

We are so happy that you trust our judgment on what goes down in the capital, and we hope ya know we would never steer you wrong. Here is our rundown of nail friends in Edinburgh.

Chez Paints Nails - Paint Salon

Located in the super-cool Paint Salon, Chez Paints Nails is a master of freehand nail art. Chez recently collaborated with Urban Outfitters to host a pop-up salon right in the city centre, treating shoppers to her signature gel nails.

Chez is Shellac and Brisa Gel trained, and her super-cool creative designs will have you screaming YES MAMA! If that’s not enough to convince you to check in with Chez, you can also pick up the sassiest thing in nail care – NAF! Stuff Cuticle Oils – in Paint salon.

But we’re not the only ones shouting about Chez, read what some of the local bloggers had to say about their experiences too:

Chez is the Co-Owner of PAINT hair + nail bar, and you might wanna also follow the salon here @paintedinburgh

Buff Concept Store

We use the term ‘achingly cool’ sparingly around here, but we’re whipping it out especially for Buff Concept Store!

Situated in one of the coolest spots in Edinburgh, Buff concept store sits beside a host of super rad independent businesses including a juicer, a bubble tea bar and a speciality donut shop. Treat yo-self.

The salon is owned by friends Carly and Holly who along with apprentice Jen give clients a luxury experience and a majestic mani.

But what really puts this salon in the forefront is the Scandi-chic décor. It is the epitome of Instagram chic. After visiting Copenhagen, the girls were gripped with design inspo, and have decorated their salon white and pale grey, with industrial shelving and wire furniture. I mean JUST LOOK AT IT.

The ladies at Buff Concept store also stock Swedish beauty brand L:A Bruket, have a lil' browse when you pop by.

Cutie Kills Nails

Zara from Cutie Kills Nails totally kills it with her cutie designs! After a hiatus in Oz, Zara is back. Situated in Medusa’s Hair Salon in the Grassmarket, Zara is creating fantasy nails for a cult following of adoring clients. From geometric shapes, foil, pastels and brights, Zara only uses the best nail products to create her designs.

Cutie Kills also offers free gel polish removal and a tidy up for clients wanting to give their nails a break from gel.  Check out some of her finest work (in our humble opinion)
