Candle: Trim wick to 5mm when the wax is set before each use as long wicks can create high flames, smoking, or sooting (black marks).
When lighting for the first time, burn the candle until wax melts across the entire surface to prevent tunnelling. Light your candle in a well-ventilated room, away from drafts, or fans.
Keep the wax clear of wick trimmings and debris as these can cause your candle to burn faster. Burn candles between 2 and 4 hours at a time.
Burning for less time can cause the candle to 'tunnel', which leaves a build-up of wax around the sides and burning for longer periods can cause the wick to move. If the wick comes too close to the sides of your candle, extinguish the flame and straighten the wick to prevent the glass from cracking. After extinguishing the flame, centre and straighten the wick. If soot forms on the inside of the vessel you can extinguish the candle, wait for it to cool and wipe with a damp cloth.
Stop burning your candle when there is 10mm of wax at the bottom to avoid the glass from overheating and cracking. Burn time depends on how candles are cared for, we provide an estimated time and recommend following these tips to get the most out of your candle.
Diffuser: Unscrew metal cap and remove plastic plug then screw gold cap back onto the bottle.
Motion will circulate the fragrance, so place in a high traffic area but avoid open windows and fans. Place the diffuser on a flat surface. Do not place on a polished or wooden surface as the oil can tarnish it, we recommend putting a plate or tray underneath it and wiping off any drips.
Pop reeds into the liquid and allow them to absorb some oil for 5-10 minutes. Flip the reeds and enjoy!
Swirl the oil around the bottle and flip reeds every few days to keep refreshing the fragrance
