Scent Profile: French Vanilla

The sun is soft and the air is sharp. The darker nights are slowly settling in and the sound of rain pitter-pattering on the window is comforting and soothing for the soul. We are more than ready for fluffy blankets, freshly baked cookies and warm glowy candle light. Cosy season really is the most wonderful time of the year!

Introducing our new French Vanilla nail and cuticle oil. One drop of this scent and you’ll be instantly transported to a chilly Autumn day with crisp leaves crunching underneath your feet, and a toasty vanilla latte in hand. With decadent notes of sweet vanilla bean with lasting nuances of creamy marshmallow, woody balsams, hints of must with a soft powdery base, it’s love at first drop with this totally scrumptious oil.

To celebrate the launch of our new autumn scents, we’re sharing some of our favourite comforting recipes that have been the inspiration behind our collection. The following is autumn in a mug; a warming, delicious hot beverage that will be your new go-to for chilly walks and cosy mornings by the fire reading your favourite book. Brought to you by our Customer Service & Product Coordinator, Lauren, one sip and you’ll be obsessed. Enjoy!

{ French Vanilla Latte }

  • 2 shots espresso
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1-2 tbsp vanilla syrup
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Chocolate or cinnamon powder (optional)

Add your vanilla syrup to your chosen glass/mug and swirl around the walls, then add 2 shots of brewed espresso. It’s important that the milk is nice and frothy, which you can achieve by using a milk streamer. If you don’t have one, don’t worry! Lauren’s top tip is to shake the milk for 30 seconds in a sealed container, then pop it in the microwave (lid off) for 30 seconds.

Add the frothed milk to the glass/mug with espresso. Finish with extra froth from the milk or whipped cream, before adding a sprinkling of your preferred topping.
